Attending one of these free workshops is your first step towards creating a beautiful garden or shoreline project that protects local water quality!
Whether you're interested in creating your own new garden, or are simply interested in learning more about Minnesota native plants and water quality,
these evening workshops are for you.
Workshops are approximately an hour long, with time for questions at the end. Attendance is free, but we do ask that you pre-register below. All ages are welcome.
Workshop dates for the upcoming spring are posted early each winter.
"It was excellent! To be honest, I just wanted a pretty rain garden, but I left there with more knowledge and interest about our water. I was excited to tell my husband all the things I learned in the class. The instructor was super engaging!" - a 2018 program attendee
"I learned things but also enjoyed the class itself much more than I expected. It was interesting and well presented, and made me excited to get started. I was completely impressed with the examples of native plantings and information given on native plants that do well in difficult environments." - a 2018 program attendee
