Buckthorn Replacement Bundle

The Buckthorn Replacement Bundle includes 10 bare root seedlings that consist of 2 each of the 5 species listed below. These hardy, native species and have proven to be effective in re-establishing areas once dominated by non-native Buckthorn while also providing valuable wildlife habitat. It is recommended that Buckthorn be controlled prior to replanting. Contact the SWCD for tips and resources on Buckthorn Management!

• Black Chokeberry, shrub – 12″ – 18″ tall
• Gray Dogwood, shrub – 12″- 18″ tall
• High Bush Cranberry, shrub – 6″- 12″ tall
• Black Cherry, deciduous tree – 12″ – 18″ tall
• Sugar Maple, deciduous tree – 12″ – 18″ tall

Seedings will be labeled and packaged together. Seedling size will vary between species. No substitution of species.
