• Needles turn yellow in fall before falling off; only Conifer in Minnesota that sheds needles each fall. Common in swamps
• 60 ft. Mature Height
• Moderate to Full Sun
• Moist to wet; boggy swamps, lake- shores, along streams, upland forest
